Log looks fine with the exception of no apparent antivirus installed. Any symptoms of infection?

This is my brother-in-laws computer and he says he is running Microsoft Security Essentials. He claims he is experiencing hang ups and things like websites loading slow, when trying to watch a video off the web it will keep buffering about every 30 to 40 seconds. He says he has checked speed and everything checks out good!

I asked him about cleaning temp files out and defragging and he says he does that. I need to see how much ram he has.

I found out he has 6 gig of ram so that should not be an issue.

Not sure what that could be, but I see no evidence of MSE installed.

Have him try running IE without add ons, could be a buggy BHO
