Hi there have been having this problem now for a couple of weeks where my system shows the (not reponding) at the top of the window.

My system is:
Gigabyte GAMA-790fxds3
Amd phenomx4 965
4gb ddr3
ATI 4870x1
2TB WD

so usually no problems at all bt i think one of my kids may have clicked on a questionable link and now having this problem.

I have run my virus scanner and malware bytes anti malware came back with nothing.

I have now run hijack and get an #75 path/host error at scan start then get the rest of the report.

What are you doing when the system suddenly goes to 'Not Responding'? Are you able to check task manager for any processes that are using up CPUs? Have you made any additions to the system that coincide with th issue? Any new software updates?

The log looks ok, nothing out of the ordinary.

only new update is the 2Tb Wd and no real pattern it happens when i'm using Internet explorer but it also happens when i'm using applications.

Can you install Process Explorer and try to get a feel for what processes are using CPUs? You may find a conflict.
